The divine Lord Sai decided to mandate a group of ardent devotees of Baba to build His Temple at the hamlet of Saravanampatti, a countryside on the outskirts of Coimbatore city. It was sometime during the last quarter of year 2010, the little son of Shri Rajkumar had an early morning vision of Baba's divine picture rolling over towards Saravanampatti the place where they used to frequent for serving food to the needy. Subsequent intuitive confirmations made Shri Rajkumar to proceed with the idea of building a Shrine to Baba at Saravanampatti where "Madhava Seva and Manava Seva" could be carried out in line with the teachings of Sai Baba.

That was the humble beginning of Sai Gurustan-the upcoming Divine Abode of our Lord Sainath. Even as the Narayana seva of serving food to the needy continued at Saravanampatti, more and more people got attracted to this noble cause and to Baba around that place. It was then decided by the grace of Baba to construct a proper temple for worship. On the auspicious day of 24th November 20101 the Bhoomi Puja for the Temple
was conducted by His Grace at kumari nagar,Keeranatham Panchayat, Saravanampatti,Coimbatore District.
The foundation for the temple was laid and consecrated under the guidance of Sri Sai Senthil Acharya of Shri Shirdi sathguru Sainath Charitable Trust and Temple, Kelambakkam, Kanchipuram Dt, Tamil Nadu, on 18th September 2011 .
